Invisible but alive in Christ

It is one of the most painful things in the world to feel invisible. When you are doing your very best and it goes unrecognized; it makes it harder to want to keep doing it. And if you feel unseen especially by the people whose attention and approval you crave the most, it can create a compulsion in your life to start doing things that are not consistent with your character - just to receive temporary validation from people. If you feel unappreciated, uncelebrated, unnoticed and insignificant, remember, what is unseen is often what is most significant. God sees you even when people don't. God saw what you didn't get. He saw the tears you cried because you wouldn't compromise to fit in. He saw the integrity you had. He saw when you didn't go off and lose your temper. We have to celebrate the times we do get it right. Some of the things we need to celebrate in life are the things that people will not notice, but if we only run towards what people applaud and normalize, we will miss the gift that God has given us.

Sometimes it is important to be and stay in a space that God has placed you for a season. It is important to know who you are trusting in. Instead of asking God to change the song you are in, ask him to change the way you hear the song. So that you wont miss the lesson in this soundtrack of your life- that you wont miss the lesson connected to that season. Remember God is good. He is holy- That is who He is. It is His character. God cannot be unholy or bad. Nothing unholy or bad could come from Him. He doesn't have to try hard to be holy or good. If you know and believe that completely, and if you dwell in the shadow of the almighty, regardless of how a situation may look, your faith should always say that God knows what He is doing. Even the very hair on your head are numbered by Him. Your job is to believe, and what God does is His business and He is good at it!
